New School Progess
So over the weekend I decided to go back to school and start online courses for my high school diploma and college degree in Child Day Care. Its going great. I knew I had to do something that my daughter could look up to me for. I also realized when you actually pay tution, you study way more and make sure you get A's. I'm almost done my first semester and I only been doing it since Monday. Currently I have a 4.0 GPA (:
If you were wondering what schools I am attending they are
-Beacon Hill Career High School ($77 a month/18 months)
-U.S. Career Institute ($5 to start, $29 a month)

The AVON Opprotunity
I know many of you heard of AVON before but have you heard about the AVON Opprotunity? I started AVON about 4 months ago after my daughter was born. I chose to do AVON fulltime so I could be at stay at home mom. It works for me and is so easy. Even if you have a job you can do AVON on the side for extra money. The possibilities are endless with AVON. For a small investment of $10 you start your own business. You brochure is your store, which is way cheaper and easier than having to rent a store and stock it with products.
So you may be asking well what's the catch? Is it a scam? Actually its not. So let's break down the cost/fees of everything.
-$10 start up fee (includes 20 brochures, samples, books, sales tools, etc)
-Brochures: $19 for 100 brochures
-Samples: $1 for 10
There's other things you can invest but don't have to right away and can wait until your business grows.
Here's another plus! You own your own business, your self employed, so when you file taxes next year you can claim all food, gifts, gas you bought, a space of your house, office supplies, cleaning supplies, car washes, and gas mileage. Those are just some of the few things you are able to claim on taxes from being self-employed.
If you are interested in doing this you can go to www.sellavon.com and use refrence code: shelbygoodwin
What To Do With Used Easter Eggs
Do you have leftover or used platic easter eggs? What about that messy grass that the Easter Bunny leaves in your kids baskets? If you do, then you have almost everything you need to make this beautiful and did I say EASY Easter Wreath! The only other things you need is a hot glue gun, styrofoam circle, piece of ribbon, and a wreath hanger (you can get all this at michaels or joanns). First you place the styrofoam circle on a flat surface. Then glue easter grass wherever you want then do the same with the plastic eggs. Last tie a ribbon at the top, put on wreath hanger and VIOLA! You have a beautiful but simple Easter decoration to put on your door for next year. You could even make it more personal by letting your kids decorate the plastic eggs before glueing them on.
